After a tremendous 2011, we've decided that National School Choice Week 2012 needs a compelling celebration to launch a week that will feature hundreds of events and tens of thousands of participants. New Orleans – which has recently attracted national attention for offering an expanding portfolio of effective education options for children – is the perfect host for this event, and the School Choice Week team has worked closely with a multitude of reformers and community leaders in the state to plan a fantastic celebration.
At our kickoff, you'll join thousands of children, parents, teachers, elected leaders, and reform advocates to have fun, and to show America that school choice – just as it has taken root and thrived in the Bayou State – is possible and effective.
